Instructional Design Resources

Design is problem solving. Recently, user-centered design has been emphasized in design education. Instructional design involves looking at the needs of the learner and designing instruction to fit. Learning theories often play a big role in the design of instruction. The main theories of learning are behaviorism, cognitivism, constructivism, and social learning. The ADDIE model has been the traditional process followed for designing instruction. It stands for analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation.
