Dr. Robert W. Ruble

Vice President for Financial Affairs

Dr. Ruble joined Ohio Northern University on July 1, 2008. He brings 25 years of experience in public universities and state-level higher education to his role as the University’s chief financial officer.

Before coming to ONU, Ruble worked at the Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation in Nashville. He has also served as associate commissioner for facilities and financial affairs for the Indiana Commission for Higher Education in Indianapolis and vice president for business affairs and treasurer for the University of Southern Indiana. He taught engineering economics analysis and analytical techniques for economic evaluation at the Pott College of Science and Engineering at the University of Southern Indiana.

Dr. Ruble earned his bachelor's degree and master's degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University and his Ph.D. in higher educational administration from Illinois State University.
