Gifts to The Northern Fund provide annual support that goes to work immediately to enrich student lives. Through scholarships and financial aid, faculty research, technology updates, and campus infrastructure, annual gifts help pay for the day-to-day costs of providing students with all the elements of an outstanding education.

When alumni, friends, students and parents give to The Northern Fund, it is a vote of confidence in the University and its future. When corporations, foundations, and grant makers consider supporting ONU, the stronger our base of supporters, the more likely ONU can benefit from external sources of aid. Our alumni participation rate is one of the criteria used when national rankings for colleges are listed, such as those in U.S. News and World Report.

Dedicate your gift

You can direct your gift to a specific campus department, athletic team, or college, such as the Women's Basketball team or the College of Engineering. Unless noted otherwise, all gifts to The Northern Fund go where there is the greatest and most immediate need.

Pledges

Pledges provide you an opportunity to make a larger gift than you otherwise thought possible by committing your gift over a period of three to five years. Your pledge should be documented in writing.
