The James F. Dicke College of Business Administration offers AACSB accredited programs with majors in accounting, international business & economics, management, and marketing. Minors are also available in business administration and in marketing. Graduates of the college will earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree.
The College of Business Administration prepares students to become successful business and community leaders in a changing world. The integration of theory and practice and ongoing mentoring opportunities are hallmarks of this outstanding academic program. In addition, the university is ranked among the top five comprehensive universities in the Midwest.

James F. Dicke Hall, which opened in 2003 and houses the new college, is 35,000 square feet of state-of-the-art classrooms and conference rooms. The “Atrium” features a 160-foot long, two-story lobby and a real-time stock ticker. The building also includes a 133-seat “Forum” to accommodate formal meetings and events with the latest in communications technology.
The college offers study abroad programs in Europe, Asia, South America, and Australia as well as tours to Europe and Cuba. Internships are offered in Ohio, major U.S. cities and even overseas.
Student Organizations
Alpha Mu Alpha, American Marketing Association, Dean's Advisory Council, Delta Mu Delta, Delta Sigma Pi, Omicron Delta Epsilon, Institute of Management Accountants, Sigma Iota Epsilon, Student Investment Group, International Business Club, Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), Beta Alpha Psi, Beta Gamma Sigma, Pharmaceutical Business Club and Society for Advancement of Management.
Opportunities
The internship program offers students the opportunity of working for a business in their major field while earning credit toward the BSBA degree. Both domestic and international internship placements are available. Students may also spend an academic term or year in a study abroad program. Formal exchange opportunities include sites in Australia, Scotland, Finland, France, The Netherlands, Costa Rica, Mexico, Spain and Russia.
