Colorguard Auditions

Applicants must submit:

1. An audition video (DVD or VHS only, 5 minute maximum)
2. Colorguard resume

Video Requirements

• 2-minute flag routine to music, including flag basics (drop spins, speed spins/double time, carving, etc.) and at least three (3) tosses.
• 1-minute dance routine, any style
• (Optional) Additional routines or equipment technique (rifle, sabre, air blade, etc.)
• NO GROUP FIELD PERFORMANCES WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Videos will be judged on proper technique, performance quality/enthusiasm, and overall appeal.

Resume Requirements

• Contact Info (name, home address, preferred phone, e-mail)
• Number of years' colorguard experience
• Number of years' dance experience (if applicable)
• Guard/teams you've spun with
• Other personal highlights (experience in choreography, teaching, etc.)
• Must include at least a 1½ minute flag-only routine to music
• May include additional routines showcasing other equipment (rifle, sabre, etc.) or other performance skills
• NO GROUP FIELD PERFORMANCE VIDEOS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
