Biology Student

The department offers the Bachelor of Science degree. Majors in the department include biology, molecular biology, forensic biology, environmental studies, and clinical laboratory science. Opportunities exist in premedical sciences (including pre-dentistry, pre-medicine, pre-occupational therapy, pre-optometry, pre-physician assistant, pre-physical therapy and pre-veterinary medicine).  In addition, many students find it desirable and career advantageous to have a second major or minor during their undergraduate program.  Special requirements for all majors:  AASG 300, MFT (Major Field Test), minimum of 47 credit hours in biology courses, and ALL biology courses must have a minimum grade of "C" or better to be used within the department majors.
