Whether you desire employment in a hospital, long-term care facility, physician's office, home health, community health, specialty clinic, university or other, Ohio Northern University has the programs necessary to succeed. Featuring both a traditional four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a one-year BSN completion program for current Registered Nurses, ONU prepares students for fulfilling careers in one of the nation's leading profession.
Students complete their degrees under the direction of caring and experienced faculty in an encouraging learning environment. Both the BSN and RN-BSN utilize state-of-the-art classroom and laboratory facilities and clinical experience to expose the student to multiple health care settings. For increased preparation and leadership skills, students can enhance their traditional nursing studies with the addition of the Business Option.
Because Ohio Northern is a private, comprehensive university, students are able to participate in a variety of campus organizations and activities in addition to their studies. With options ranging from Student Senate to Habitat for Humanity, intramural sports, Greek life, theatre, professional organizations and honoraries, and much more, there is something for everyone. Nursing students can become members of the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA).
