Information collected from the 2006-07 class of teacher education graduates shows that 91% of those graduates reporting their job status had attained positions related to education, were attending graduate school, or were not currently seeking professional employment. Nearly two-thirds of those teaching were within Ohio. Others were teaching in states such as Virginia, Florida, North Carolina, Texas, Maryland, and New York.
