  • The department's programs included in the second edition of the "Creative Colleges: A Guide for Student Actors, Artists, Dancers, Musicians and Writers" as one of the top 200 creative programs in the country.
  • Four major programs including advertising design, art education, graphic design and studio arts offered in a professional and liberal arts environment which contributes to students' exposure to form, theory and practices.
  • Required of all majors, a year-long investigative research project which synthesizes students' liberal arts and professional education, and culminates in a public presentation demonstrating knowledge of concepts, theories, issues, form, methods and materials.
  • An in-house design studio and course offers students real-world exposure to business and professional experiences.
